# Canonicon NFT

In order to participate in this system, we’ve created a dynamic, non-transferable NFT that changes its appearance according to your activity within the platform.

Our goal is to allow anyone that desires to contribute productively towards the Canon protocol and mission to have access to the NFT. To balance the necessity of growth and quality, we will rely on a community voting process, not unlike the addition of an NFT to a canon, to moderate the allowlist of NFT minting. Additionally, the JPG team will look to partner with various communities to grant access for those members.

To learn more about the governance and reputational components of the Canonicon, view the Governance page.
